Ventura Hobbies in Ventura, California, hosted their 16th Annual Modelfest 2004 featuring model cars, airplanes, military armor and action figures at Seaside Park in the Ventura County Fairgrounds, and they invited their closest friends. This indoor event was the bomb! And we're not just saying that because they had airplanes competing.

The big guy winning all of the awards for the day was "boy-in-the-hood" Jay Holt with a hardcore metalized Monogram '87 Chevy Monte Carlo Luxury Sport, Revell '64 Chevy Impala with money floatin' in it, a rare (not a kit) '37 four-door. Jay took First Place in the Lowrider category. Basically said, Custom Builders were the winning club in the Lowrider class.
